The Fair Work Act 2009 legislation provides the minimum terms and conditions for the majority of employees in Australia.

The National Employment Standards (NES), contained in the Fair Work Act 2009 set out 11 minimum entitlements that apply to most employees.

The 11 minimum entitlements of the NES are:
